Lots of games try to be funny, but jokes in board games are almost never as funny as they're supposed to be. And even if the joke is funny, it could still fall flat at the game table in any number of ways when you read it out. The laughter in a game has to arise from the people playing it, not from jokes written by someone who's not even there. So how can a game create situations that make players laugh?
