is located at 1965 N. Milwaukee Ave steps off the N.Western Blue Line in the Margie's Candies building on the divide of two Chicago neighborhoods, Bucktown and Logan Square. We offer food and drinks alongside a library of hundreds of playable games old and new.

We accept online reservations through Tock. Our hours are listed above. If a table is not available on Tock for the time requested, please give us a call for alternate options.
Can I host a party or event there?
Yes! We have private rooms available for reservation and we also have a variety of options for your parties and private events in our main space.
Do I have to play a game if I come in?
Nope. You can play a game if you want, or just come in for food and drinks.
How long should I plan to spend?
A normal reservation lasts for two hours. Depending on the night you book, you may have the option to extend your reservation.
What if I want a longer game experience like a D&D campaign?
You're in luck! We have private bookable rooms designed for just this purpose. Reach out to our events staff at (872) 310-3999 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more details on securing a really special session for your group.
What if I want to learn how to play D&D?

What do I do if I'm running late?
If you are running late, please give us a call at (872) 310-3999. Once you've paid for a reservation, the table is yours for two hours. Unfortunately, if you are late to your reservation, your time can't be extended past those two hours.
Can kids come to Snakes & Lattes Chicago?
Children are welcome, but any child over two years old must have a seat reserved. Please keep in mind that this is a working restaurant and for safety reasons we request that children stay seated at their table. And just a heads up: we love kids, but there is no kids menu available.
Where can I park?
Good luck. We are steps away from the Western Blue Line stop, as well as Milwaukee, Armitage, and Western busses.
Is there a dress code?
Nope. Come as you are.
How far in advance do reservations become available online?
Reservations usually become available about 4-6 weeks in advance.
Do you have a waitlist?
Yes. If the night you want to book is sold out, an option to be placed on a waitlist is available on Tock.
Can I book an experience at Snakes & Lattes Chicago as a gift?
Absolutely. You can book private events by calling us, or you can purchase bookings on Tock as a gift.
What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?
We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please make us aware when you book on Tock. We have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options on the menu. If you have some other way that you eat we'll try to make it work.
Can I bring my own wine or beverages?
As a general rule, we don't allow outside beverages. But, if you have a special case please give us a call to discuss.
Can I bring my own board games?
We have a library of over 300 games but if that's not enough, you're welcome to bring your own.

|Entrance(s)||Snakes & Lattes Chicago's entrance is in the middle of the block on Milwaukee between N. Western and Armitage.|
|Ramps||There are no ramped entrances, however the curb on the corner is ramped and there are no stairs from there to the entrance.|
|Handrails||There are handrails on both sides of each staircase and an elevator for lower level access.|
|Lobbies||The entrance area of the venue is for greeting guests. If guests need to wait for a table, our bar and standing tables are available on a first come, first serve basis.|
|Floors/Grade/Levels||Snakes & Lattes Chicago is a two floor venue, street level and lower level.|
|Signage||Wayfinding signage (chalk board signs) near the entrance to the washrooms guide patrons towards them, and washroom doors are labelled with male and female figures.|
|Exterior lighting||There are street lamps on Milwaukee that light the street.|
|Parking||There is paid street parking up and down Milwaukee on both sides as well as on Armitage and N. Western. Snakes & Lattes Chicago does not have designated parking services.|
|Sidewalks||The sidewalk on Milwaukee, in front of the entrance, is cement and has a parking meter box, lamp posts, bike racks and signs.|
|Transit||Snakes & Lattes Chicago is steps off the Western Blue Line stop as well as within 1 block of 8 different CTA bus stops.|
|Washrooms||There are male restrooms and female restrooms, each have an accessible stall.|
|Doors||All door widths are 36" or wider per accessibility standards.|
|There are no all gender washrooms.|
|Both washrooms have faucets at 36" in height in a shared basin at 33" height, faucets are controlled by automatic sensors.|
|The washrooms have soap dispensers on the table top at 33" height.|
|Braille||There is no braille present in the venue.|
|Hallways||All main passageways are a minimum of 36" wide.|
|Seating||Seating in the restaurant is a mix of chairs, wooden benches, cushioned booths, and bar stools. Most tables are at 30" height and are wheelchair accessible, with some group tables at 43" height.|
|Interior lighting||The venue is well lit throughout the day but tends to be dimmed to match a bar atmosphere at night. There is also atmospheric lighting in all dining areas.|
|Sound & music||The venue's sound levels are calmer throughout the day but tend to rise to match a bar atmosphere at night. A variety of cafe-appropriate music is played throughout operating hours at an ambient volume.|
|Menus||Menus are printed on card stock and presented on a clipboard, our menu is also available online for viewing.|
|Our menus have menu listings with text as small as 1/16th an inch. Receipts are on common receipt paper or can be viewed on a digital display at any zoomed in size.|
|Dietary restrictions||We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please make us aware when you book on Tock. We have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options on the menu. If you have some other way that you eat we'll try to make it work.|
|Service animals||Service animals are permitted in the venue.|
|Childcare||High chairs and booster seats are available upon request.|
These guidelines were put in place to ensure that our restaurant is as safe as possible for our team and guests in regards to COVID-19. They are in accordance with the CDC, FDA, OSHA, State of Illinois, and City of Chicago rules and regulations to ensure we can continue to operate.
Hand Sanitizer. We will have spray hand sanitizer on each table, as well as no touch hand sanitizer stations in common areas.
Cleaning high touch areas. We have procedures in place to sanitize all high touch areas including door knobs, handles, railings, and the restrooms each hour as well as an extensive sanitization before and after each service. All guest seating, tables, and booths will be sanitized between each use and each game will be available to one group per evening and sanitized utilizing hydrogen peroxide based sanitizer and a UV light chamber. We will be using cleaning logs to ensure these cleaning practices are followed each day.
Employee requirements. All employees will partake in a wellness questionnaire before each shift including COVID-19 exposure and symptoms screening, contactless temperature screening, and an overall wellness check in. Employees will not be permitted in the building with any symptoms and will be required to meet all CDC guidelines to return to work safely. Every employee will be required to wear a mask for the duration of their shift and while on property in any manner. Additional PPE will be provided per the necessity of each position. Frequent handwashing for all staff members will be required and will be monitored on a daily basis. Employees will be encouraged to maximize social distancing wherever possible and employees will keep 6 feet away from guests whenever possible. All employees will undergo ongoing training on health and safety procedures, using PPE, and sanitation and cleaning standards.
Guest requirements. Upon arrival, all guests will be greeted by our host team to review our COVID-19 questionnaire and to have their temperature checked. Guests will not be allowed in the building if they show symptoms consistent with COVID-19, or showing a temperature of 100.2°F. We ask that guests sanitize their hands before moving further into the space, and restroom signage will encourage guests to follow CDC-recommended handwashing. Only one party will be allowed in our vestibule at a time, and guests will be texted when their table is ready. Guests will be required to wear masks while interacting with any staff members and while not actively eating or drinking at their tables.
